Privacy policy
This policy explains how we handle the information you submit through bostonpipeliningcompany.com.
Last updated: October 15, 2026.
Boston Pipelining Company operates this website. This policy describes what we collect when you use the site or send an inquiry, how we use it, and who may process it on our behalf. Our cookie notice lists each cookie and browser storage item the site uses.
We use the information you send us to respond to your inquiry.
When you use our contact form, we collect the fields you enter: your name, phone number or email address, property town or address, what your sewer is doing and whether you have an inspection video. We also record which button opened the form and the page you sent it from. We use that information to respond, schedule follow-up and assess the work you describe.
Do not send payment card numbers or unrelated sensitive records through this form.
Our service providers process technical information to run the site and receive inquiries.
Each visit and form submission involves technical request data the site needs to operate and protect itself, such as network address, browser type and timestamps, and your cookie choice.
When you send our contact form, CleanTalk, our spam protection service, checks your name, email address, message and technical request data before we accept the request. We store accepted requests in our Supabase database, and Google's Gmail service sends our team an email notification from our website mailbox, bostonpipeliningweb@gmail.com.
Your request also includes how you reached our site, such as a search engine, an ad or another website, and the pages you viewed before sending it, from our own first-party measurement. If we cannot confirm your visit, your request says the source is unknown.
DigitalOcean hosts this website. Our Supabase database stores the site content, the requests you send and our own first-party visit records. These providers process data to host the site, receive inquiries and measure use. They are not a public mailing list.
Google tags use cookies only with your permission.
Necessary storage keeps the site working. It also remembers your cookie choice and your accessibility and display settings in your browser so the site can apply them on your next visit.
We measure visits and lead sources on our own site with first-party data, whatever you choose in the cookie banner. We keep it in our own database and do not share it with Google or any other company. Google analytics and advertising cookies are optional. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, with the Google Ads tags our advertising uses, load on our pages, but until you allow analytics or marketing they set no cookies and use no advertising identifiers. Until then they send Google basic signals without cookies, which Google uses to estimate visits and ad results in aggregate. Our cookie notice lists what those signals contain. Google and the call tracking provider process the data their tools collect under their own terms.
Choosing Necessary only keeps Google analytics and advertising cookies off. It does not stop our own first-party measurement, the technical request data described above from reaching our hosting and spam protection providers, or the signals without cookies from reaching Google.
We keep your cookie choice for 12 months, then ask again. You can change it at any time with Cookie preferences in the site footer or on the cookie notice page.
We respect the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we keep Google analytics and advertising cookies and ad personalization off unless you switch them on yourself in Choices or on the cookie notice page. Our own first-party measurement still runs, and we do not share it.
You can ask us to correct or delete your inquiry information.
We have not published a fixed retention period for inquiry records. Contact us to ask about correcting or deleting information from a specific inquiry: bostonpipelining@gmail.com or 617-699-5384.
Turning analytics off stops Google Analytics cookies. It does not delete an inquiry you already sent or the email notification about it.
Other websites follow their own privacy practices.
When you follow a link to another website, that site's own privacy practices apply.
