West Roxbury trenchless sewer repair
If you already have a camera inspection of your West Roxbury sewer from a plumber or a home inspection, send it to us. We review your footage, tell you what we can and cannot see in it, and record your sewer again when we need a clearer view before we line it.

We recorded this sewer in nearby Jamaica Plain before we lined it.

Your existing footage
We start from the inspection video you already have.
A recording from a plumber, a home inspection or an earlier clearing visit can show us roots, cracks or a sag in your lateral before we visit. We look at where the camera entered, how far it travelled and whether the pipe wall was visible through any buildup.
If your footage stops short, is blocked by roots or does not show the joints clearly, we record your sewer again after cleaning. That second recording gives us the measurements we use to size your liner.
Send us. Your video file or link, your address and which fixtures back up.
We check. The entry point, the distance recorded and how clearly your pipe wall shows.
We decide. Whether your footage is enough or we need a cleaned, measured recording.
We look for these problems in the footage you send us.
Each of these shows up on a camera recording. Some we line directly; a collapse needs a spot repair first.
Camera inspection
Roots hang through a joint in your recording.
We cut and jet the roots out, then line the run so the joint they used is covered.
Camera inspection
Your camera stopped at a raised lip.
An offset joint can stop an inspection camera. We clean and record past it, then confirm whether our liner can pass it.
Camera inspection
Your pipe wall is hidden under scale.
Scale hides cracks. We descale your pipe so a new recording shows the wall we will line against.
Camera inspectionSpot repair first
Your footage shows a broken, caved-in section.
Our liner cannot pass a collapse. We plan a spot repair there and line the rest of your sewer when it holds its shape.
Slide across these pipes to see what a lined lateral looks like.
Your final recording looks down a lined pipe like these: one continuous wall with the old joints covered.

We clear a root mass that stopped an earlier camera. When roots block your old footage, we cut them out, record the cleaned pipe and line the joints where they grew in.
We turn your footage into a lined sewer in five steps.

We review your footage and record what it missed.
We compare your video with a recording from your cleanout and measure the length and diameter of the section to line.
Hydro jetting
We clean your lateral so the whole wall shows.
Hydro jetting removes the roots and scale that hid your pipe wall in the earlier footage.

We prepare a liner cut to your measured run.
We saturate the liner with resin at our vehicle, sized from the recording we made of your cleaned pipe.
Curing the liner
We install and cure your liner inside your lateral.
We invert the liner from your access point and cure it into a new wall against your old pipe.

We give you a recording of your lined sewer.
You get footage of the finished run to keep with the recording you sent us at the start.
Nearby work
We recorded and lined a basement sewer in nearby Jamaica Plain.
In Jamaica Plain our camera found fractures and infiltration along a 6-inch run beneath a finished basement floor. We reviewed the recording with the owner, jetted out roots and buildup, measured the full path and cured the liner with ultraviolet light from inside the home.
That job is in Jamaica Plain, east of West Roxbury, not in West Roxbury itself. It shows how a recording reviewed with you becomes the plan for your liner.

West Roxbury and BWSC
Your recording matters when BWSC reviews a West Roxbury lateral repair.
West Roxbury is part of the Boston Water and Sewer Commission system. BWSC’s Sewer Lateral Financial Assistance Program applies when your lateral is blocked, collapsed or leaking and BWSC verifies that condition. Its 2025 stormwater report says the Commission confirms a leaking lateral, reviews the owner’s submission and authorizes the work, then runs a dye test after the repair to confirm the lateral is no longer leaking.
Our camera recording shows you where your lateral fails before you contact BWSC, and our final recording shows the lined run before BWSC tests it. Your program questions go to BWSC; your sewer questions come to us.

We answer questions about using your existing sewer video.

What video formats can I send you?
Send the file your plumber or inspector gave you, or a link to it. If we cannot open it, we will tell you and record your sewer ourselves.
Why would you record my sewer again?
Roots, grease or scale can hide the pipe wall in an earlier video, and a recording made before cleaning cannot give us the clean measurements we use to size your liner.
Does BWSC look at my footage?
BWSC verifies the condition of your lateral itself before its assistance program applies. Our recording helps you understand that condition and plan the repair; BWSC decides eligibility.
Do I keep the final recording?
Yes. We give you the recording of your lined sewer so you can keep it with your earlier footage and your property records.
Send us your West Roxbury sewer recording.
Attach the video or a link, tell us your street and which fixtures are affected, and we will tell you what your footage shows and what we still need to see.
