Quincy trenchless sewer repair
We line Quincy sewers that run beneath finished basements and concrete floors through interior access, instead of opening the floor along their full route. Our camera shows you whether your pipe still holds the shape a liner needs.

We connected our inversion drum to basement piping on our Back Bay job.

Under finished floors
We repair your Quincy sewer from inside when it runs under a finished floor.
When your building sewer runs beneath tile, carpet or concrete, you can compare digging along its full route with a cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liner installed through a planned opening. The liner cures into a new wall inside your old pipe, so the floor along its route stays down.
We find where your sewer runs and how we can reach it. A cleanout can let our camera and cleaning tools in without opening your finished space; installation also needs room for our inversion drum, so we show you that spot before we start.
Access. A cleanout or one planned opening instead of a trench along your sewer.
Floor. The finished floor along your sewer’s route stays in place.
Fixtures. We list which fixtures are out of use during installation and cure.
Slide across these pipes to see the wall we cure beneath your floor.
These are the conditions we line beneath finished floors: scaled cast iron and corroded laterals.

We clear the corrosion that narrows your drain and line over it.Your new liner gives your drain a smooth wall where rust and scale used to catch waste.
We line beneath your Quincy floor in five steps.

We trace your sewer route beneath your floor.
We record your sewer from a cleanout and mark where it runs, how deep it sits and where our equipment can connect.
Hydro jetting
We clean your pipe from that same access.
Our jetting removes the scale, grease and roots that would keep your liner from seating against the wall.

We stage our inversion drum indoors.
We set up inside your building, as we did on our South Boston job, and invert the resin-saturated liner into your sewer under air pressure.
Curing the liner
We cure your liner while your floor stays down.
The resin hardens into a new pipe wall along the lined run beneath your finished space.
After lining
We record the finished wall before you use your drains.
We reopen any branch the liner covered and record the lined run, so you see your new wall before your fixtures go back into use.
We line these problems beneath Quincy floors.
Lining needs a pipe that still holds its shape. Our recording shows whether your sewer does.
Camera inspection
Scale is narrowing your cast iron drain under the slab.
We descale your drain to its wall from your cleanout, then line it so waste stops catching on the crust.
Camera inspection
Roots are entering your lateral at its joints.
We cut the roots out and line your lateral so the joints they used are covered.
Before lining
A joint under your floor is leaking into the soil.
Leaking joints wash out the soil under your pipe. Our liner covers them along the lined run.
Camera inspectionSpot repair first
A section beneath your floor has collapsed.
Our liner cannot pass a collapse. We repair that spot, which can mean opening your floor there, then line the rest when it holds its shape.

Quincy DPW
Quincy puts part of your lateral in your hands, and its DPW names relining as a repair.
Quincy’s Department of Public Works says property owners are responsible for maintaining and repairing their building’s lateral, and its sewer overflow page advises having your lateral inspected for blockages, breaks and leaks. It says repairing, replacing or relining your lateral can help prevent sewer backups.
Quincy’s fiscal 2027 list of services places the owner’s responsibility for a residential property of four units or fewer between the foundation and the edge of the sidewalk, and its overflow page describes the lateral running to the city main in the street. Ask Quincy DPW where your responsibility ends before you plan a repair. The same list says the city will clean that residential sewer line once per fiscal year at no cost when cleaning is required.

After weeks of trying to find the right company, multiple estimates, and a genuinely difficult sewer situation, Boston Pipe Lining was able to install one continuous liner to the street. I had a failed backwater valve, sewage backup, significant groundwater intrusion (nearly 2 feet), and a very complicated double wye buried under concrete and rock. Most companies either couldn’t fully make sense of the system or told me pipelining through the double wye wasn’t possible. This company was able to make sense of the setup quickly, and the plumber they worked with identified the double wye almost immediately. Their quote was also the clearest and most detailed I received, which helped me research my options thoroughly and make the best-informed decision for a complicated project. They were the most reasonably priced company I spoke with, and throughout the process Travis was knowledgeable, communicative, and clearly committed to keeping projects moving efficiently while balancing a busy schedule. They also use Intuit for payments, which made handling a large payment much easier since I didn’t have to deal with cashier’s checks, debit card limits, or additional surcharges. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the work they did.
D B.Google review, We had original 100 y/o cast iron under our basement slab and Boston Pipe Lining handled the stretch from the house to the street. It was 12 feet underground which would have been astronomically expensive to dig. The price was fair and they were extremely professional. Travis and his team were in and out in less than three hours and there was not a single issue with the process. I'd strongly recommend them.
Richard R.Google review, Travis and his team did a great job repairing a pipe issue that caused repeated issues in one of my units. They were quick, efficient, very reasonable and fair with their pricing, and great communication throughout the process. Would highly recommend again

We answer questions about repairing your sewer in Quincy.

Will my Quincy repair stay inside my building?
We use interior access when your route and the condition of your pipe allow it. Some properties still need a limited opening for our equipment, and we agree its location with you before work starts.
Should I ask the city to clean my sewer first?
Quincy lists one residential sewer line cleaning per fiscal year at no cost when cleaning is required. If your line keeps backing up after cleaning, our recording shows whether a cracked or rooted section is the cause and whether it can be lined.
How do I compare lining with an excavation quote?
Ask each contractor what access they need, which floors or paving they will open and what length of your sewer their method renews. Our estimate names the access point and the run we line.
Can our condominium association schedule work on a shared sewer?
Yes. Tell us which units share your drains and your board’s approval timeline, and we plan the fixtures each unit cannot use during installation and cure.
Tell us what covers your Quincy sewer.
Send us your address, the flooring over your sewer’s route, where your cleanouts are and which fixtures back up.
